Adinary Context Sync is Scott Le's personal utility for synchronizing selected context files through Google Drive. This policy covers that utility and its two information pages.
Data accessed and its purpose
The utility requests only Google's drive.file permission. It accesses files created by or specifically authorized for this app: their contents, names, identifiers, modification times and other metadata needed to transfer files, compare versions and preserve conflicts. It may check the account's email address to confirm the intended owner.
Google Drive data is used for the owner's file synchronization, version comparison, recovery and conflict handling. It is not used for advertising or sold. The sync utility does not use that data to train generalized AI models.
Storage and transfer
When configured, selected files are transferred between the owner's computers and the owner's Google Drive using Google's authenticated APIs. Copies, version snapshots and conflict copies may remain on those computers or in Drive. The information pages do not publish vault contents.
OAuth tokens are stored locally in encrypted configuration protected by the host's credential storage. Each computer obtains its own authorization; tokens are not copied between computers or placed in context vaults.
Google processes data stored in Google Drive under Google's applicable terms and privacy policy. Access by separately configured agents or other applications is outside the sync utility's Google authorization and is controlled separately by the owner.
Retention and control
Files and recovery copies remain until the owner removes them. Removing a source file or revoking authorization may leave copies elsewhere; revocation does not delete stored files. The owner can remove files from local storage and Google Drive, and revoke the app through Google Account connections.
Information-page visits
These two static pages contain no application forms, analytics scripts or advertising scripts. Their hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process request information such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from vault synchronization.
